On election day, November 8, 2016 it was a gorgeous and warm day. I was hoping it was a good omen but it turns out that we were on the eve of destruction.
It was rainy and grey the next day. We have been living in a nightmare ever since.
December 8 started with a hard frost covering all surfaces.
The day was seasonable with a high of 46 degrees and a low of 32 degrees.
It ended with an amazing pink sunset, reminiscent of a similar sunset at the same time of year around 20 years prior
while a close friend lay dying in the hospital.
On December 18, 2016, overnight rain led to temperatures rising to 60 degrees.
Intermittent rain continued, very windy with temperatures dropping throughout the day.
High 60 dgrees, low 34 degrees. Normal high is 44 degrees.
